The advice for residents is to please continue to put your bin/ items out on your collection day at the normal collection points. It is our intention to try to complete as many collections as possible.
Recycling collections will take place as normal next week.
Skips will be supplied at various locations around the borough to ease any refuse problems residents may be having.

Blackburn with Darwen Council and the local Teaching Primary Care Trust have joined force to ensure free access to sport and leisure for all.

Important changes to the borough's recycling collection
For the first time, residents will be able to recycle Tetra Pak cartons, drink cartons and ALL plastics including crips packets, yogurt/margarine and butter tubs, loose plastic bags and takeaway/microwave meal trays, as long as they have been cleaned first.
