Employment agency

Service information

The employment agency aims to provide opportunities for people to undertake casual roles within the Council, gaining work experience, skills, training and knowledge to contribute to people's long term goals.

Sometimes the Council needs casual staff, so we have our own in-house employment agency to support the many services we deliver. We provide short-term cover across the Council for holiday periods and other leave. Placements can range from one day to up to ten months.

Although placements are not permanent, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on skills and experience which can contribute to your longer term employability.
