Councillor Mrs Pat McFall

Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council 2018/2019

Pat was first elected to Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council in 2002 and represents Little Harwood & Whitebirk ward where she works tirelessly with local projects. Pat was Chair of the Children's Centre for a long time and is non-voting member of the Community Centre Management Board.

Since being elected, Pat has been a Lead Member for Children's Services, initially Schools and Education since 2005, for Early Years and more recently her current responsibilities is to oversee the looking after of Disabled Children within the Borough. She has served on numerous committees including Planning, Licensing and Education. She works hard and with dedication for constituents and the portfolio which she is passionate about.

Pat is Chair of the Strategic Domestic Abuse Group and works in partnership with other agencies to tackle domestic abuse.

Pat has four children and seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Pat believes it is an honour to serve as Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and is looking forward to the year ahead.

 

Mrs Lucie Higham

Mayoress of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council 2018/2019

Lucie is a proud mother of two children and currently works as a Communication and Engagement Manager for Lancashire and Midlands Commissioning Support Unit and is based at NHS Blackburn with Darwen Clinical Commissioning Group.

Lucie has previously worked for Blackburn with Darwen Council in the Communication Team for more than 10 years. Lucie is also a school governor at Lower Darwen Primary School and is looking forward to assisting her mother in her role as Mayor 2018 – 2019.

 

Miss Rona McFall

Mayoress of Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council 2018/2019

Rona currently works as a Programme Director delivering business support programmes across the North of England. She is proud and privileged to deliver coaching, mentoring and training support to local residents looking to start and grow a new business. Rona also works with more established businesses across the Borough and wider Lancashire County to grow and create employment opportunities for local residents.

Rona previously worked for Blackburn with Darwen Council's Economic Regeneration team for 5 years across a number of public funded programmes that successfully secured new jobs, investment and economic growth for the Borough.
