Welcome to the Celebrate Blackburn festival. A month of music, arts, food, sports, and fashion events. Celebrate Blackburn is all about celebrating your life, your town, and your community. This is a fabulous annual festival for everyone in Pennine Lancashire.

Celebrate Blackburn features a diverse programme of music and dance in venues across Blackburn Town Centre including the cathedral, Blackburn College, and King George’s Hall. An eclectic array of musical talent reflecting the diversity of our community is included in the packed programme. The festival also provides the backdrop for two great events. The Blackburn Races 5K on Sunday July 12 and the Blackburn Town Centre Grand Prix cycle road race on Wednesday July 22.

Both of these events will feature elite athletes from across the UK competing for top prizes. These are annual events which are now fixtures on the national competitive calendars. With multi-cultural arts workshops and exhibitions, plus historical tours of our town, canals, and fashion corridor, there is definitely something for everyone during Celebrate Blackburn.
