Care Network promotes independence and access to services for people living in Blackburn with Darwen.

Care Network provides help to find affordable, quality assured services to support people to live independently.

 

What is Care Network?

Care Network is a partnership venture funded by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council and the Neighbourgood Renewal Fund. It provides a telephone helpdesk and home assessment service and a wide range of quality assured, accessible, affordable services to help people live independent lives.

 

What does the helpdesk do?

The Care Network helpdesk is run by caring and friendly staff who can offer advice and information about a wide range of reliable, quality assured and affordable services.

 

What sort of services?

Services include escorted shopping, cleaning and laundry, home maintenance, decorating and gardening.

 

Who is it for?

Care Network is for all vulnerable people, including people with disabilities, older people and those who care for someone at home.

You can either telephone or email your query to the Care Network Helpdesk. It is also possible to arrange a home visit if you need to discuss things further.
