Burial
A burial service is provided at Pleasington and Darwen Cemeteries, where new graves can be purchased. If your family has previously purchased burial rights within Blackburn (Whalley New Road) cemetery, burials can be arranged at this location.

borough wide Open 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Grave searches can be carried out but a fee may be charged depending on the amount of work required. Most of the cemetery records are available in Blackburn Central Library should you wish to carry out your own searches free of charge. |
