What is the local strategic partnership?  

The Local Strategic Partnership is the Borough's largest and most influential partnership body.  It is an overarching body, made up of representatives from the public sector, local business and the faith, community and voluntary sector. The aim of the partnership is to create a vision for the borough and set mechanisms to deliver on the vision which is known as the community plan. The partners works together to improve services to all the people of Blackburn with Darwen.

The Local Strategic Partnership is responsible for delivering the Community Plan.  The priorities in the Community Plan were drawn up after widespread consultation with local people.  To obtain a copy of the Community Plan please contact local strategic partnership co-ordinator on (01254) 585465 or email: policy@blackburn.gov.uk
