Cycling strategy

Vision

“Encouraged by a network of on-road and off-road cycling routes and facilities; the provision of quality cycle training and the promotion of active lifestyles, more and more people choose to cycle as a means of travel to work, retail, education and leisure.”

The cycling strategy highlights a series of priority schemes which must be implemented if traffic growth and car ownership are to be contained and cycle usage increased.  Read the full strategy to find out more.
