Car parks
The council car parks within the borough are divided into long stay and short stay car parks. If you are using these facilities you should make sure that you have change with you to pay for the car park. The machines take coins only and do not give change.
Always park within the bays, this allows other motorists to make use of the adjacent bays.
Always ensure that the parking ticket is correctly displayed on the dashboard and that the ticket can by read by the parking attendant when he looks through your windscreen.
