Workmen / contractors

If you are a workman or contractor and you need to park a vehicle at a location were parking restrictions apply including pay and display bays, you need to contact the Parking Services department prior to the date you intend to start work. A minimum of 24 hours notice will be required.

You will need to show that it is necessary for the purpose of your work to keep a vehicle at that location for a specified item. If you can unload equipment and goods and then move the vehicle to a parking location you will need to do this. This facility is to enable workers to access vehicle mounted equipment which is too heavy or bulky to unload.

There will be an administration charge connected with providing these facilities.
