Further guidance on registering for an online account can be found here: registering guidance or you can speak to one of our customer service agents live using webchat on the main Council Tax page. If the office is closed you can still use webchat to send us an email.

Sign up to paperless bills

Once logged into your account, if you have not already done so, you can switch to paperless billing to receive notification of your bills and notices by email by clicking on the update link in Council Tax Options.

Alternatively you can request paperless bills for Council Tax or you can telephone 01254 585440 to switch to paperless billing.

By switching to paperless bills you are also confirming that you have seen, understand and accept the terms and conditions.

Please note:

At present you may not be able to view the pdf version of your Council Tax bill on mobile devices, particularly iPads and iPhones - a fix is currently being worked on by our software suppliers.

  • You can view your bill using laptops and other devices. Alternatively, your online account is accessible using the self-serve pc’s at Blackburn and Darwen Town Halls or Libraries.
