Care Network

Care Network is a Blackburn with Darwen based charity connecting local people with quality services and information.

They help residents make informed choices about what support is available, enabling them to live independent, healthy, and safe lives.

The charity works closely with local businesses who provide wellbeing services within the home, including meal delivery services (often called ‘Meals on Wheels’), grocery shopping and hairdressing. They can help local residents to access reputable services, quickly and easily.

Care Network offers a Safe Trader Scheme (with nearly 70 quality assured providers on their books), Learning Disability and Autism support and a Healthy Homes service, providing advice and support to achieve a warm, hazard-free, and energy-efficient home. The organisation also runs the Care Network Hub, based on Town Hall Street (opposite the library), offering drop-in services and regular social groups. The Hub is a central point for residents of all ages to access services that provide support and advice, designed to help people take greater control of their health and wellbeing, at every stage of life.
