Stay Well Pledge

This is in line with the infection prevention and control measures we have learnt so much about due to Covid-19.

Blackburn with Darwen created the pledge as a marketing tool aimed at all businesses, including shops, factories, offices and hospitality, as well as community venues.

The pledge

The pledge seeks to promote best practice while providing reassurance to staff and customers in the local area.
By signing up to the stay well pledge businesses and community venues will continue to follow public health guidance and promote the following;

• support staff to access vaccinations
• the provision of adequate ventilation
• support customers and staff who wish to wear face coverings
• commitment to provide hygiene facilities for staff and customers
• encourage staff and volunteers to try and stay at home if they feel unwell
• support staff with health and wellbeing needs
• assess the physical environment and working practices according to HSE guidance including risk assessments

Once complete, the business will receive a printable certificate to display in their premises to promote to customers and staff. There may also be an opportunity to be photographed outside your premises with the pledge board, which will then be shared on the Councils social media to promote the businesses.
