E-billing terms and conditions


The information provided in this online application, and from any other supporting evidence we may request in order to process this application, will be used by Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council for the purpose of verifying, updating and reviewing accurate records and in the prevention of fraud.

If you have supplied an email address it is your responsibility to keep that email address up to date.

In the case of joint & several accounts (where there is more than one person named on the account) it is your responsibility to ensure that we have email addresses for all individuals named on the account.

The information will be held securely by the council and will be treated as confidential except where the law requires it to be disclosed. The council may check information provided by you, or information about you provided by a third party, with other information already held by us. We may also get information from certain third parties or share your information with them in order to check its accuracy, prevent or detect crime, protect public funds or where required by law.

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council will not sell any information or pass on any of your information to third parties for the purpose of marketing or canvassing.
