Support with energy costs: £150 Council Tax rebate
In early 2022, the Government announced funding for local authorities to support households with rising energy costs.
In addition to the Core Rebate Scheme payments, the Discretionary funding has been used in conjunction with monies from the Household Support Fund to pay £150 to the following:-
- Households in receipt of Council Tax Support in bands E - H were invited to claim the £150
- Households in receipt of Council Tax Support with dependent children have been given an additional payment of £150 which has been credited to their Council Tax account
The Core Rebate Scheme and the Discretionary Scheme closed on 30th November 2022.
Payments have either been made to your nominated bank account or credited to your Council Tax account.
You can view your Council Tax account on your online portal.
