We recommend that you pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit because it is the simplest and easiest way. Setting up a Direct allows you to: choose from four dates each month of when you can pay - 5th, 15th, 23rd or last day of the month extend your payments over 12 months instead of the usual 10 pay us automatically, avoiding reminders If you pay by cash, you can pay on the 1st or the 15th of the month and can request that your instalments are spread over 12 months (if requested before 15th April) or spread over the remaining number of months available. How to set up a Direct Debit To set up a Direct Debit, complete a Council Tax Direct Debit form.
