Personal information and data protection

Cost of requests for information

Requests for information relevant to you are free of charge.

The only exception to this would be where requests from a data subject are manifestly unfounded, excessive or repetitive. In those circumstances, the Council may charge a reasonable fee taking into account the administrative costs of providing the information. Alternatively the Council may choose to refuse to act on the request.

Where possible the Council will provide guidance and assistance to support your request for information.
