Everyone should be able to register and vote without facing barriers. They should be able to vote on their own and in secret.
Government guidance aims to remove any barriers to voting for people with disabilities.
Our polling station staff can offer help to anyone who needs it to be able to vote independently.
We can provide suitable equipment, such as tactile voting devices and large print ballot papers.
Every polling station has a private area to check the identity of anyone who wears a face covering for religious, medical or any other reasons.
We always try to have at least one female member of staff.
If you need any help, just ask our polling station staff.
