Financial fees and charges

The Council produces fees and charges lists each year. They contain details of all fees and charges made by Blackburn with Darwen for Council services.

Funding opportunities

Blackburn with Darwen Council is working with partners to identify and provide external funding opportunities for local people, community groups and organisations.

Financial Strategy

The Financial Strategy and Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP) is approved each year by the Finance Council at the same time as the annual budget is set.

Schools spending return: section 251/52

At the beginning of each financial year Local authorities (LAs) are required under section 251 of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 2009, to publish a budget statement for that year.
