Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is the way we try to understand the needs and assets of Blackburn with Darwen and its residents.

Overall it's about how the population of the borough is made up, what we know about how healthy it is, and the assets people and communities have to help them to stay healthy. But it's also about understanding what residents and people that use services think about Blackburn with Darwen and the services that help to promote health. It tries to understand the stories that people and communities tell about their own experiences of health and wellbeing.
