Do you need help with CVs, covering letters, job searching, interview techniques and more?

Job Club is a friendly place where you will get practical help as you seek employment. It's a relaxed environment with the chance to meet other jobseekers, get support and gain the tools you need to find work.

  • Every Tuesday: Audley Neighbourhood Learning Centre Pringle St, Blackburn, BB1 1SF, 13:00-15:00
  • Every Wednesday: Darwen Valley Community Centre, 59-61 Sudellside St, Blackburn, BB3 3DL, 10:00-12:00
  • Every Thursday: Bank Top Neighbourhood Learning Centre, Arthur Way, Blackburn,BB2 1QP, 13:00-15:00

Help to develop your skills and access to employment

Our professional and experienced support workers are on-hand to help navigate your route back to work. We have access to a range of courses, work experience and volunteering opportunities that will help to improve your appeal to employers. We work closely with employers to ensure we are able to provide tailored to suit your needs.

Our aim is to help Blackburn with Darwen residents improve their skills and employment prospects through one-to-one support.

  • Develop a personalised action plan to help overcome any barriers from participating in work related activity.
  • Access a range of opportunities to aid personal development.
  • Find training programmes that will help gain new or improved skills.
  • Access valuable work experience opportunities

Who can get support

Blackburn with Darwen residents aged 16-65, unemployed (this includes no zero hours contract) and have a legal right to live and work in the UK.
