Parking permits

As a business, you are entitled to purchase a maximum of 2 permits for each of the listed properties that you pay business rates for that fall within a residents parking scheme.

As a business owner you can use these permits to allow your visitors to park near to your premises. The Council requires proof that the business is owned by the applicant and requests a copy of the recent business rates showing clearly the applicants name and the business address.

A business cannot purchase resident or visitor permits.

We are working to improve our online permit application process. In the meantime, if you require a business parking permit, please email parkingservices@blackburn.gov.uk and provide the following information:

• full name
• full postal address for which the permit is required
• type of application - new, renewal or change of vehicle/details
• method of receipt - email and/or post
