Billinge Woods mountain bike trails

Cycling trails for mountain bike riders of all experience levels

The two trails 'Tricky sixty' and 'Trail of two trees' are both approximately 600m in length and when completed as a circuit offer cyclists roughly 2 miles of mountain biking pleasure.

If you are travelling to Billinge Wood via a bike, access is from either Under Billinge Lane or Billinge End Road.

Witton Country Park is also accessed by National Cycle Network route 6 with access up to Billinge Woods via Crow Wood.

The nearest rail station is Cherry Tree Station which is served by the Colne to Blackpool South rail service.

Blackburn Rail Station, located a mile east of Witton Country Park, is also served by regular trains from Manchester, Bolton, Leeds, York and Clitheroe.

Parking facilities

Ample car parking is located at Witton Country Park located off Preston Old Road (A674) with access to the trails via Crow Wood a pleasant climb of approximately 1 mile.
