Lost, missing and replacement bins

Before reporting your bin as lost or missing, please ask your neighbours if they may have taken your bin by mistake.

Bins often reappear because someone has mistakenly taken the wrong bin after collection.

If any of your bins have been lost, stolen or you are a new occupier to a property where there are no bins on site, you can request a replacement.

We usually only send out a replacement bin if the original bin still hasn't turned up after your next scheduled collection.

Please note, if you have a damaged refuse (burgundy) bin, such as a broken lid, handles or wheels, you can request a replacement however in the first instance we will try to repair it.

There is a £10 non-refundable administration charge for replacing or repairing a burgundy bin. All replacement bins are refurbished and are stored outside so may look weathered.

Request a new or replacement bin

If there are four or more permanent occupants residing at the property, you can apply for a larger 240l refuse (burgundy) bin.

If you are struggling with excess waste, you can apply for an additional recycling (grey or blue) bin.

If you are currently awaiting delivery of a brown bin, there may be a slight delay. We will endeavour to get your bin to you as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
